Regent Sells Plainville Brands
BEVERLY HILLS, CA – August 3, 2024 – Regent, LP (“Regent”) announced today the completion of its full exit from Plainville Farms (“Plainville”), an industry-leading processor of organic and antibiotic-free poultry products to Farm Fresh Turkey Products, LLC, a new entity formed by an investor group consisting of suppliers, growers, management and other industry participants. The investor group is led by The Wenger Group, Inc., a supplier to the Plainville business and a regional agricultural company..
Plainville was initially acquired by Regent in February 2019 as a divestiture out of Hain Celestial. During this time, Plainville strengthened its position as the market leader in organic and antibiotic-free turkey products by localizing and streamlining its supply chain, expanding into value-added high-margin products, and enhancing its core markets across the East Coast.
